Hello, I’m Samio, Manchester based founder and artist behind Curated Ink Co.
I’ve always loved to put my hand to anything creative. After experimenting with different mediums over the years, I one day decided to put ‘digital pen’ to ‘digital paper’ and discovered I really found my flow.
Soon creating digital art just for fun, turned into me creating a full collection of prints (told you I was in flow) and I knew I wanted to put them out into the world.
I discovered my love for creating prints whilst I was going through a really tough time with my mental health and I found so much solace in the process, that I really hope that these prints can bring some joy to you in your home too.
I’m a big believer in affirmations, so you may spot them here and there throughout my prints, as well as some simple reminders to slow down and relax the mind. Life can feel so hectic and serious at times and sometimes we need that little reminder to prioritise peace and have fun.
My aim is to create prints that can brighten up your home or workplace, adding a hint of vintage inspired nostalgia or that subtle positive reminder.
